Mrs. Barbara Lane Email Principal
Mrs. Lane is a graduate of Mary Manse College with a Bachelor’s in Speech and Education. She received her Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Dayton. She holds State of Ohio Principal’s Certification, State of Ohio Supervisor Certification and State of Ohio Teacher’s Certification.
Mrs. Lane started her teaching career at McCauley High School where she taught Language Arts and Speech. From 1980-1987 she was the Junior High teacher at St. Jude School. She became Principal of St. Jude in 1987 where she remained until joining the staff at Regina Coeli School in 1998.
She has four sons, one daughter, three grandsons and three granddaughters. She enjoys reading and cooking.
Mrs. Donna King Email Secretary
Mrs. King graduated from Denby High School in Detroit, MI. She has been the secretary for Regina Coeli Church and School since February 1978. She has worked as the school secretary since August of 1991. She loves to read, shop and cook. She has 3 children, 3 stepchildren and 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Linda Fioritto Email Secretary
Mrs. Fioritto began as a volunteer at Regina Coeli in 1995 as a lunchroom mom and a weekly brown envelope stuffer. She was the hot lunch coordinator for several years before joining the staff in 2002. Currently, she works alongside Mrs. King as secretary in the school office. She is married and has two girls, both graduates of Regina Coeli. Amanda, class of 2004, attended Notre Dame Academy and recently graduated from the University of Dayton and Morgan, class of 2009, graduated from Notre Dame Academy and is attending the University of Toledo. Mrs. Fioritto enjoys spending her time attending UT sporting events and reading.

Mrs. Anne Hankenhof Email Kindergarten
Mrs. Hankenhof has been a teacher for the past 33 years. 30 of those years have been at Regina Coeli. She is currently teaching kindergarten. She graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is married and has three children. Her children graduated from Regina Coeli. She enjoys fishing and hiking in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Mrs. Jan McNichol Email Grade 1
Mrs. McNichol has taught 1st grade at Regina Coeli since 1985! Prior to coming to Regina, she taught Kindergarten and Pre-K for 4 years at Good Shepherd Catholic School. She loves teaching and seeing her former students become successful adults (and teaching their kids!). She has 3 sons, Ryan, Mark, Tommy, daughter-in-law, Ali and a precious grandson, Matthew. She enjoys reading, golfing, biking, and traveling to see her family. She and her husband Paul have been members of Regina Coeli Parish since 1984. They enjoy being part of such a great community. All three of their boys enjoyed a wonderful education at R.C. and are all doing well in the work place, and college.
Mrs. Stephanie Kisela Email Grade 2
Mrs. Kisela graduated with a B.S. from the University of Akron in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading. She and her husband, Dave, have three wonderful daughters, Kelsey, Emily and Chloe. Emily and Chloe are identical twins that are 17 years old. Her oldest daughter, Kelsey, is 22 years old and attends the Ohio State University pursuing a degree in Psychology. After her twins were born, she stayed home to raise her children. She has taught second grade for eight years - three in the Cleveland Diocese and five in the Columbus Diocese. They relocated from Columbus to the Sylvania area a year ago. She enjoys very much preparing students for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. She's has always loved this grade level and is looking forward to an exciting new year at Regina Coeli. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. When they vacation, they tend to find themselves renting a nice boat at a beautiful state or national park lake. In her spare time, she enjoys watching a great movie, reading a best seller or scrapbooking.
Mrs. Lynnette McClain Email Grade 3
Mrs. McClain graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1986 and received her reading endorsement for grades K-12 in 1993. She has taught at Regina Coeli School since 1986. She is also a Mentor Teacher for newly licensed educators. She, her husband, Eric, and son, Zach, are members of Regina Coeli Parish, where Mrs. McClain serves as a Eucharistic Minister, rosary prayer leader, and is also a member of the Pastoral Council for the parish. She enjoys reading, walking and spending time with friends. Mrs. McClain and her family enthusiastically support the Pittsburgh Pirates/Steelers, and the UT Rockets. Mrs. McClain is proud to be teaching at Regina Coeli School!
Mrs. Corrine Sharrit Email Grade 4
Corrine Sharrit had owned a dance studio in Point Place for 26 years while attending and graduating from the University of Toledo. She has taught in the Catholic School system for 14 years, grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Corrine is married to a great husband and has two children. Both children are married to wonderful spouses. She loves to read and paint, but her favorite hobby is being ornery with her four grandchildren.
Mrs. Kellie Doyle Email Grade 5
Mrs. Doyle graduated from Ashland University in 1999. She has been teaching in Catholic Schools since 1999. Prior to coming to Regina Coeli, she taught at Holy Trinity in Bucyrus, and St. Elizabeth Seton and Pope John Paul II Schools in Toledo. Mrs. Doyle is married with three children and is a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Miss Sara Kallenberg Email Grade 5
Miss Sara Kallenberg is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in elementary education for grades k-5. She has worked with students as a Student Intervention Provider for three years in Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and cooking. Miss Kallenberg is very excited to be teaching at Regina Coeli School!
Mrs. Lisa Bartholomew Email Grade 6
Mrs. Bartholomew has taught at Regina Coeli School since 1994. She currently teaches 6th grade. During her years of teaching, she has also taught 7th, and 8th grade. Mrs. Bartholomew graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1993. She received her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Bowling Green State University. She currently lives in Blissfield, Michigan. She has been married to her husband, Gary, since 1991 and has two daughters, Caryn and Anne. Caryn is a freshman at Central Michigan University studying Communication Disorders and Anne attends Regina Coeli. In her spare time Mrs. Bartholomew enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and stamping cards. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Sr. Christine Marie Foos Email Grade 7
Sister Christine Marie is a sister of Notre Dame and has been in Catholic Education for over 30 years, both as a teacher and administrator. She attended Mary Manse College and received her Master's Degree from Dayton University. She began teaching at Regina Coeli in 2005 and teaches religion and math to Grades 7 and 8. In addition, she prepares the 8th graders for the reception of Confirmation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, swimming (weather permitting), and exercising.

Mrs. Leslie Burnham Email Art
Mrs. Burnham has an educational background in the outdoor and therapeutic recreation area. She enjoys teaching art and draws on her years of experience running a nature/art program and teaching at the Art Museum. Married for over 25 years, she and her husband have 3 grown daughters and an adopted son from China. With the girls living across the country, she enjoys traveling to visit them. She is also very involved with the youth at her church and she loves the outdoors, reading, and spending time with friends.
Mrs. Avery became the computer teacher at Regina Coeli in 2014. She is a graduate of Ashland University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Education. She received her Masters degree in Classroom Technology from Bowling Green State University. She has taught a variety of subjects and has been a teacher since 2001. She has been married for 14 years and has one son who is 5 years old. She enjoys reading, baking, watching high school sports, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Cottle is enjoying her 19th year in the Regina Coeli library. She is a graduate of Regina Coeli, Central Catholic and the University of Toledo. She has four darling daughters (who are also graduates of Regina Coeli), a very special son-in law and a cantankerous cat. Her "spare time" activities include spending time with family and friends, reading (of course), working puzzles and cross stitching.
Mr. Guy Batterson
This is Mr. Batterson's first year of teaching in the North Community Catholic School. Born and raised in the western suburbs of Detroit, Mr. Batterson is a graduate of Bowling Green (OH) State University's College of Musical Arts. He is an active musician who has participated in a number of ensembles in the Bowling Green area. These include the University Choral Society, the Bowling Green Opera Theatre, and the Bowling Green Area Community Band. Mr. Batterson is also an assistant marching band director for Lake High School (Millbury, OH), and the announcer for the BGSU Falcon Marching Band. Mr. Batterson is a husband, and father to one rambunctious little boy. He and his family live in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Mr. Boaden is the Physical Education teacher. He started teaching at Regina Coeli in August of 2005. He also teaches Summer Phys. Ed. at Central Catholic High School. He is the Freshmen Boy's basketball coach at Ottawa Hills High School. He graduated from both the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. He is a graduate of Central Catholic High School and belongs to St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Point Place.
Ms. Galina Maklakova Email Spanish
Ms. Maklakova graduated from Kiev State University (Kiev, Ukraine) with a PhD in Foreign Language. Her teaching experience includes a total of 35 years, 16 of them being in the United States, in Texas and Ohio. Her passion is the Spanish language, and she's also certified to teach Russian PK-12. At the moment, she is the Spanish teacher for the Franciscan Academy of Lourdes University, and at Regina Coeli. She lives in Toledo, Ohio with her son Steven. Bienvenidos al programa espanol!
