Art Club is for students who want to spend more time practicing and perfecting skills in art, sometimes trying new mediums or skill areas. Art Club will be for 4th and 5th grades on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, and for the 6th, 7th and 8th grades on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month starting in October. Art club will be held from 2:20 - 3:30pm. This year, there will be a cut off of 20 students per art club. Students will sign an agreement form and if their behavior shows they have little interest in completing the art projects or if a student misses two art club sessions without being absent from school, their place will be given to a student that is on a waiting list. As usual, students are asked to bring a dollar each art club for snack. If there is a special project that requires extra materials, students may be asked to bring a small amount of money for those supplies. Art Club will begin the first week of October and forms will go home in mid September and must be turned in to Mrs. Burnham in room 15 at the beginning of the day to be considered. If a form goes to the office or is left in room 15 and not handed directly to Mrs. Burnham, that  form will not be considered to be turned in. New project ideas this year, it's going to be fun!
